Did anyone else grow up in a half Jewish household? Like my dad, who’s mother was Jewish, was brought up catholic since his father was, but my mom is Jewish and she and my dad decided to bring us children up in a religiously ambiguous household. So we would celebrate xmas but-

-we didn’t celebrate any of the religious parts of the Xmas holiday. Meaning we got the tree, decorated the tree, and gave presents. That’s all we did. We didn’t do any of the religious stuff. Like at all. & we acknowledged the Jewish holidays sort of. Due to our family members-

-but like I wanna revisit the Xmas part. Like did anyone else ever do anything similar? I remember we had a few Jewish ornaments too. I was just reminded of doing this, when looking something up online and saw a tree of life w/Star of David ornament & i realized how weird lol
