Poilievre and the CPC refuse to accept any "truth" that doesn't fit their narrative. They ignore dissenting opinion and facts. They repeat questions. They badger.

With that in mind does anyone honestly believe anything Trudeau says will be accepted as "the whole truth" by CPC?

How long do we get to keep interviewing people over and over again with no new evidence?

If the police did this they'd be shut down as an abuse of power. There's a reason why people in power need reasonable suspicion and cause to bring that power against another.

CPC are a perfect demonstration of what happens when a group is given power but has no self restraint and there are no checks and balances to hold them from abuse.

One of the important check and balance mechanisms to hold MPs to account is the media.

However our media seems to fail to see the point to holding the opposition to any sort of semblance of decency.

In a minority situation, opposition parties wield significant power of their own. Especially on committees where they hold the majority and the balance of power.

Even if they demonstrate passive, reluctant support in the HoC, opposition are free to act as selfishly as they see fit in committees.

Media, who loves a good scandal more than boring procedural affairs, does nothing to discourage this behavior.
They even laud it as effective.
