I hate subtweets—but I want young poets to know that during this pandemic, a lot of editors are having a rough time. I got COVID and then two of my family members died from it. Just in the last three months. I’m still trying to put myself back together in many ways.
I know it be frustrating b/c you haven’t heard from anyone in a month but with small volunteer staffs—it is normal for the publication process to take awhile.

I had a poem accepted May 2019 get published June 2020 for example. Depending on what’s going on—it can take a minute.
I guess what I’m saying is... I’m doing my best. And it isn’t as great as I’d like it to be, but I’m trying.

Please keep that in mind when sending check-ups and follow-ups and so on to bi-annual journals.

We only publish twice a year and this is an especially rough year.
