Opposition in the #AbLeg is a weird job in - you can’t win votes, or move policy - all you can hope for is to raise enough public concern to alter the government’s direction.
And with the UCP - and thier amazing arrogance - you can rarely do that. 3/

No - I can’t turn back the UCP’s bad policies right now. I can’t stop them from adding 60,000 new kids to schools without a single new teacher, I can’t stop them from driving doctors out of the province in a pandemic.

In these days of instant gratification it can be hard to wait for change. It breaks my heart to see real people hurt in the mean time.
