Can we have a #Twitter101 or #IntroductionToTwitter class? It is real basic stuff and I get it, it takes a while to learn some of the things, but here is a list of stuff people need to know: / 1
1. If playing a Hashtag (HT) put that HT in your tweet so it helps the algorithm trend it.

2. Do not tag the person you found the HT from in more than 2 tweets. It's obnoxious. If your HT is good we will find you and RT or like it on our own /2
3. Don't message and ask for RTs especially if we hardly interact. It's just rude.

4. If in a large group thread, the 1st person in your reply chain is the person you are considered to be speaking to. Be sure the person you want to be speaking to is the 1st listed in reply. /3
5. sometimes text can be misunderstood so allow for people to ask if you are being serious or not.

6. If trying to have serious back and forth conversation don't QT bc it makes it impossible to follow, but if just showing someone to be stupid QT is appropriate /4
I think those are the basics. Feel free to add any, and have fun tweeting, but for the love of all that is good IF WE ARE PLAYING A HASHTAG #PutTheHashTagInYourTweet and #DoNotTagMeInEveryTweetYouMakeOnTheHashtag. Those are the most important. TY :)
This is not directed at anyone in particular.
I just have realized a lot lately we need some basic Twitter lessons. Nobody is mad or did anything wrong. :)
