These are two things i’ve seen frequently on ac twitter and to say it irks me is an understatement. I can’t remember their @ at the moment but another user made a really good thread on this topic a while ago and it made me want to express my opinion as well, but the reactions-

-they got from it made me anxious about doing so.

Using asian cultures for the purpose of aesthetic is disgusting.
Studying japanese culture or the language is not a reason to present yourself this way, I can definitely agree that my culture is interesting and fun to look into-

-and i totally get that people who do this don’t have bad intentions but y’all need to recognize how gross and harmful this kind of stuff can get.
