If it’s true that Marlins players went out in Atlanta and that’s how this all started, correct me if I’m wrong, but add that to college outbreaks we’ve had as well, and isn’t this the same story over and over?
These teams aren’t getting Covid by playing their respective sport or
using the same training equipment or eating together..the outbreaks are starting by teammates doing the exact opposite of what they’ve been told to do..going to bars, clubs, parties, etc..
And it’s incredibly irresponsible selfish behavior
It also reinforces to me that college football CAN work..if the players act responsibly..
Guys aren’t getting Covid from playing sports...they’re getting Covid from acting like knuckleheads when they’re NOT playing sports..
Here’s the bottom line...every coach has to stand in front of every team and tell his/her players...”men/ladies..it’s simple..we can have our team, have a season and create memories for a lifetime...or we can go to parties and bars...But we can’t do both..it’s your choice”
