I think moving away from your hometown is so beneficial to your character development lol
You dont have to move away for good, but idk sometimes where you grow up can get OLD. You need new ppl, customs, perspectives...
Plus idk its so easy to get stagnant around the same peers. Ppl are kind of closed-minded when it comes to growth & you breaking out of a box their brain put you in...
I moved 1,500 miles away from my hometown lol its was hard, but equally rewarding. I felt freedom from my past self tbh
Character development has to do w fictional characters lmao but im like 99% sure theres nothing “real” about capitalism & imaginary lines on a map, & working your life away in the same city for paper that was dyed green & has no actual valuable properties.
