Remove all exams (UT,Assignments,Quaterly,Half yearly) and keep only final exams. The objective of 1-5 should be able to read a book (which PISA shows we fail) of 100 pages at least. Fill student's extra reading with Chandamama,Balamitra books and 10's of story books.

For maths,Topics are spread over 5 years with no real continuum. Start clubbing them.
Science labs,txtbooks need a serious rampup.

Expand scope of Shodhganga,library mission,nptel and other online resources. If there is course dub it in all Indic languages. Internship programs of industry + theory by clges. Look for demand of skills and how many ppl r required. Apprenticeship should b increased.
For higher studies,get 100's of labs (Maxplanck) associated with clgs. All research activities to be led by labs. Increase in Phd,postdoc positions and a not one size fit all evaluation. Instead of sending students across seas start building infra.
