I have been saying for years now. America runs on tradition and norms more than law. The founders never assumed the country would elect someone who simply didn't care about either and filled the government with sycophants. But here we are. We DON'T have laws for a man like Trump

What happens election night? We will NOT know who the president is because the mail in ballots won't be counted. That could take weeks. Trump will declare the election over in his favor Dems will insist all votes be counted. Likely a state flips red to blue as more votes come in

Swing States w/ Dem governors & GOP legislators will sue each other. (it's happening in NC now over masks). Govs will insist on counting all votes that are post marked in time. GOP citing SCOTUS Wisconsin ruling will try to throw out ballots. That's just the state level

Trump will send federal troops to STOP any governor who continues to count votes, and he will weaponize the far left media to justify it. And all to many people will fall for it unfortunately. None of these scenarios are good for democracy

There is also a scenario where the Senate led by McConnell refuses to certify electors until all of Trump's lawsuits have played out, which could easily go past inauguration Day. Point is, Biden better be ready to fight because election night will not be the end of the election
