Reminder that John Oliver's wife is a right-wing Republican and employee of the US military named Kate Norley. He met her at the Republican National Convention in 2008 where she was working with Vets for Freedom, a John Birch Society type group that advocated for the Iraq War
Kate Norley is often referred to as a "veterans rights advocate" (???) but this is the outfit she works for. I wonder if this has any connection to her husband using his platform on HBO to spread pro-war propaganda against US "official enemies"
