a thread of what's happening to muslim uyghurs in People's republic of china.
uyghurs is a turkic Muslim minority originated in central asia. they now live in modern day west china in the province of xinjiang (east turkistan)
they are estimer to be around 11million of them

china has no plans considering giving east turkistan independence considering china is planning multiple trade route that go through that province (belt & road initiative)
what's happening:
mulims from xinjiang are being forced into concentration camps where;
+they are being tortured.
+raped.
+beaten.
+forced to not practice their religion.
+they “teach” them that there is no god.
+forced to learn mandarin chinese which is the official language of china...

china denies it and says that it is "reeducation camps" and “training centers”
since 2017 over 1m uyghurs have been detained in these "re education centers" and internment camps.
but this is just pure ethnic cleansing.
