#UNC Board of Trustees are meeting right now. They are about to vote on whether to remove four names from campus buildings -- Ruffin, Carr, Daniels, and Aycock.

The building was jointly named for Thomas Ruffin Sr and Jr. Board felt there wasn't enough info to remove the Jr name.
So, for now, Ruffin will keep its name but named only now for Jr. #UNC

What was formerly the Daniels Student Stores will be called Student Stores building in the interim, until new name is selected.
Carr – will be called “Student Affairs Building” in the interim.
Aycock – “Residence Hall 1” in the interim. #UNC
