My theory is that he uses bad shots to hide the fact that he's an elite passer from stupid fans.

The corollary here is that he's an incredibly ball hungry player who wants to end every possession and putting him on a team with Werner, Pulisic, Havertz?!, Mount, Tammy?! etc is going to be so fascinating to watch.

Stat-heads might love him because of his production, but sometimes players who take a lot of low xG shots are misunderstood; undervalued.
Eye-testers might hate him because (heaven forbid!) he misses so many shots, but if they only watch the highlights...

In terms of an analytics & a 'viewing pleasure' point of view, Ziyech is one of my favourite players - a complete maverick, bag of tricks who is easy to misunderstand.
For #FPL I'm excited about the prospects of such a fun pick, especially if others don't see him for what he is.
