Seeing a lot of comments about the price of food and what is classed as a luxury item. In my experience living on a tiny food budget was tough and that was just feeding myself.
If you are lucky enough to own a freezer you can sometimes pick up some reduced items from fridges.. ⤵️
I was once one of those who waited in the shop for the sticker person to price down items. Its not an exaggeration that their will be times when you stay in bed longer or go to bed earlier to cut out 1 of the 3 meals a day saving money.
Fruit and veg is expensive. One thing ⤵️
that always shocked me when working in retail was the amount of food wasted by companies. It all went in the skip with lots of people climbing in to collect food with a few days left on it. It disappoints me when people say people don't need to rely on food banks. What you out ⤵️
*Would you out of choice eat tinned food everyday...ofcourse not but for some that's not a choice. Poverty is a huge issue in this country.
Please Donate to your local foodbanks.
Every item makes a difference. And don't look down on people who are less fortunate that yourself ⤵️
