Composers and lyricists all over the world are entitled to receive royalties for their published work throughout their lives. India is no exception. I am glad to be a member of the royalty distribution body of our country, IPRS as a writer-composer. (contd)

As artists we dont have pension schemes. We may not even be able to get on the stage tomorrow to perform. But I know every time someone, somewhere sings or plays a “Journey Song” or a “Amake Amar Moto”, my royalty share is being collected by IPRS. They will take care of me.
