He understood the necessity of upgradation of the fighter fleets which was long overdue.He was a man of principles, honesty & simplicity. He was one of the best defense minister that Bharat ever had, "Bold & fearless"
He channelised the resources & put them to best of use. He must be happy today & smiling from heaven as he waited for this historic day to happen one day . Red letter day for Bharat today. Kudos to his efforts.
