2/ been shackled to has literally pitted one artists against the other since forever, and there is a glimmer of hope that this may stop. We have seen it manifest itself in its worst state during this pandemic, with commissioning opportunities when people are dying. It is wrong.
3/ Artists are the healers. They are not there to be thrown into a ring together and fight it out re who has the best idea. They will always invent when inventing seems impossible and each invention is born of a visceral experience they have and is therefore always relevant.
