Yes, I have recognised a deteriorating patient
Yes, I have acted quickly and got them help
Yes, I have saved lives
Yes, I have performed CPR until my arms hurt
Yes, I will continue to do this and more
Yes, I am a nurse

It didn't stop me doing my job, It didn't erase my compassion. It didn't stop me caring. It doesn't stop me
continuing. Its doesn't mean I don't deserve to be treated better.
