True freedom and release from insecurity comes only from Allah (swt). If you base your success on the world you'll always want from it and its people a certain level of recognition. That will inevitably lead to failure. With God however you'll always have a trustworthy guardian.

We all get caught up in jumping through life's hoops to gain a degree, a job, spouse, or even religious title. All of those enslave us to the expectations of people and their wants. A performative exposure that often ends in disappointment.

Think about all the lives that have passed up until now. Even the most famous ones. How much do we truly remember them aside from a few faint pictures, ideas and thoughts. It's all ephemeral and contingent. Everything like dust in the air must move at some point.

The *only* way to free ourselves and have our efforts made meaningful is to connect with Allah. He knows your pains, your struggles, your achievements, and most importantly your sincerity more then anyone on this world will know. God knows you better then yourself.

Tomorrow don't wake up thinking I have things to do. Wake up tomorow and think about why what you do is connected to God and His glory. Because anything other than what's for God is only futile and meaningless but also hurtful to the very soul that craves His presence.
