Nearly all had already gone to a JR Fair-only model for this summer, if not outright cancelled. He's added little things: empty grandstands instead of socially-distanced ones, only harness racing - and I'm sure before the mid-Auguest fair season hits around me, he'll bar
the public, crushing animal sales (if it's allowed at all). For many of Ohio's 88 counties, this is the event of the year. Show off the fruits of those early mornings, breaking one's back all year, going all out in the spring and summer. It's a social event, it's a learning
event - I dare say it's the best of the summer's magic, distilled into one week that passes faster than a lightning bug's flash, before the start of school. Notice he made sure his own grandkids' fair was not so affected by those new mandates - Clark Co. JR Fair just ended.
The current confd. mortality-to-cases rate is 3.8% statewide in all ages in Ohio. Under age 70, that rate drops to 1.1% (740 / 70, 319). In my own county, 6 of the 24 confd. deaths were younger than 80, 0 younger than 50. In the county to the south of me, there have been 3
deaths between the ages of 60 and 79 - and that's it. Six months, two counties, 27 deaths out of 733 cases, combined pop. of >132K. That's what's keeping Ohioans clamped down and afraid. I don't know how much longer I can endure the gaslighting, lies, and fear p*rn.
