We hit Tazzles Bar in Ames and I burn a $20 with $1 well drinks. Eventually I get hungry and go over to Pancheros for burritos (the good version, not this pale chain imitation in Iowa today...) and I pony up for two “El Gordos” - each 2lbs of steak, sour cream and cheese. 2/n
I’m still hungry, but I only have enough cash left over for a taco. So I eat a steak taco. I go to my ATM after and realize I’m overdrawn (hire me for all your finance needs, y’all.) I take my last quarter and call my fiance to pick me up... 3/n
And she drives to the corner by the bar to pick me up, but I don’t get in. “Can you give me $10? I need money for the gyro man.” The gyro man had his cart strategically outside the bars. He had what i needed. 4/n
To say my fiance was pissed was an understatement. She went back to our apartment, I ate and drank more till the money ran out but I still had space for more.
Ironic side note: earlier that day Pancheros had a burrito eating contest. The winner won by eating 1 and 3/4 burritos.

Without knowing, I effortlessly crushed the eating contest winner and then dunked on him with a taco, an gyro and 2 brats after.
