People in my county keep saying we can’t allow this virus to make us to live in fear.

What exactly is their point? The virus doesn’t care about my fear or lack of it. I am not keeping my family safe out of fear, but compassion and admittedly, selfishness.

It is hard on kids not to get to hang out with their friends, do clubs activities, and play sports, but it a lot easier than attending a parent’s, teacher’s, coach’s, or friend’s funeral.

Grandparents, siblings, community members, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, all at risk

No, it isn’t fair, but life is not fair. Maybe parenting (mine too) has swung too far in allowing our children to believe the world revolves around them, instead of them being a part of a big world.

I don’t think believing science & data is living in fear. I believe it is wise.
