Good afternoon #Clippernation - Wanted to jump in as an outsider to the normal host of writers and content creators that keep our timelines well stocked with timely Clippers news to prove some live tweets from the @LAClippers Town hall that is about to get underway.
As far as I know, this invite was sent to "Members" which for me is probably just as a season ticket holder. Not sure how widespread this is but I'll share as many of the important bits as I can track for you here.

The event is being hosted by Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker
A big part of the purpose driving the town hall is geared at season ticket holders, and they're looking to replicate some of the now voided experience of the playoffs for fans.

How much of that experience can be replicated virtually? Time will tell.
Lawrence Frank on handling the pandemic, stressed that the organization tried to be patient, not over- or under-commit; there was a concern about the health of the players and staff.

"This was not about efficiency or quick decisions, this was about getting it right"
"Win the wait has nothing to do with being a better player or performance. Rather, How can you take care of yourself and your family and take care of others first and foremost"

The team stressed being able to maintain physical and emotional health and weekly zoom calls.
Frank added "Part of the weekly zoom calls was spent preparing for a different potential playoff opponent. There's no excuse not to take this time and not be ready for whoever the opponent would be"
Staff, equipment managers, and trainers were also involved with daily interaction with players using Microsoft teams (bias much?) and facetime to get creative with how players were able to maintain that physical and mental health and not fall victim to this process getting stale.
Gillian Zucker jumps in with "I think Doc would kill us if we had all of these people in one place and didn't remind everyone to vote - We needed to do that for Doc"
Moving on to the process of getting ready for the bubble:

Frank "We want to be here 100 days and we would gladly take an empty gym than no gym at all"
He adds "We hope that this is a one time think, and we think when all is said and done, our players are taking part in an historic event"

He applauds the operational success of the bubble so far and relays how safe the players and staff in the bubble have felt so far.
Apparently players don't warm up on the court they ultimately play on.

"You warm up, you get on a bus, and you head to the game arena"
Frank on Joakim Noah "I think it's just his unbelievable passion to compete. he's not doing it for the money."

"Think about it, he was on the longest 10 day contract in the history of the NBA"
Frank on Noah (cont). "He's had success and he's also lost everything. And we think he brings a perspective to the locker room on how to keep the right perspective."
Frank on the food in the bubble: "I think they initially thought that the NBA players were 8 year olds taking their first trip to the animal kingdom; they gave them one chicken wing - since then they've done a great job."

Lawrence with a poorly timed chicken joke...
Frank on players and safety: "I can speak on behalf of the players when i say that they feel safer here than they would feel anyone else"

He talked about wrist bands, daily questionnaires, masks, social distancing, etc...
Apparently the Clippers have been snitched on via the snitch hotline.

The process for daily testing is that teams are assigned certain times to test each day and you're no0t allowed to test outside your window (a rule that clippers players, and others, have apparently skimped on
Frank on whether we are ready for Thursday: "Our focus has always been, we want to build championship habits daily."

The focus is on the playoffs (duh)
Frank adds that we will have Landry Shamet for Thursday and there is a "good chance" we will have Pat Bev.

Good news for my fellow Pat Bev fanboys!
News of Jamychal's success at the 5 has not passed by Lawrence Frank unnoticed - Expect to see more of that despite it being hard from a mins perspective when all of our bigs are healthy.
Gillian Zucker added a couple of parting shots for the MVPs/season ticket holders:

Clippers MVP's will have opportunities to interact with @NoahEagle15 via zoom before each playoff series and after every playoff game.
The virtual billboards/screens in the arena will be interactive and fans (not sure if just season ticket holders) will even be able to be heard by the players in the arena during games.

Lastly, no word on next season...obviously they just don't know yet.
Thats it from me, cool to hear from Gillian and Lawrence. Tagging some of the real ones in case any of this is interesting.

One more thing....I'm not a professional and my memory was tested in real time on some of these quotes. Don't sue me.
