Acquiring users

A thread 👇
Short term:

Manually reach out to people you know.

This can be more than suitable enough to facilitate the feedback you need to iterate past an MVP (sometimes even further). You're really just looking to diversify feedback at this point.
Medium term:

Add value where your potential users are spending time (reddit, quota, Twitter, support threads, etc.)

Start validating against people that don't know you and are willing to say no to you. This can be early signs of sustainable channels of acquisition.
Long term:

Organic search.

There are tons of resources on this one.

TLDR;
SEO. Content on strategically targeted long tail searches. Organic, targeted traffic is extremely important to a sustainable internet business.
What did I miss or what did I get wrong? Would love to hear from folks that know this stuff better than I do.
