Reports on the ground were that RPD authorities and these two were in heavy talks together today at the press conference.

Reports from last night said this same group claimed the fliers from the weekend were from white supremacists. Which is odd, because no one on the ground besides them buys this narrative. It is doubly odd that they would say this and then have an open relationship w boogaloos.

Maybe the truth is that RPD and this group don't actually give a shit about white supremacists and they are just trying to figure out a way of how they can become "in charge" of the protests.
This would explain why reports said they acted out threateningly (contradicting the whole peace thing) when they were told they weren't in charge last night, instead of taking the L and going home to learn from it.
Most people wouldn't try to intimidate a crowd of protesters in a movement they actually care about just because they thought they were right.

For context Mike Dunn is the person who held the rally in Richmond on July 4th, that attracted a very particular type of crowd.
Turns out that “cops and the klan” AND peace police all work hand in hand.

Just received this terrifying reportback from someone in attendance last night. Read this and ask yourself if this group's behavior sounds like it is in good faith, if they really cared about this movement.
For some context^, this was all so they could protect a nightclub that is notorious for discriminating against black people. Who would act this threatening, intimidating, and violent in the name of "peace" just on the behalf of property? Much less racist property? Doesn't add up.
Just saw this: these same people are terrorizing a reporter who was present at the Libby Hill press conference earlier. I can only speculate that they are blaming this person for my thread, despite the fact I did this entirely independently.
It is fucking sketchy and sus behavior to accuse other people of being police collaborators because YOU WERE LITERALLY PHOTOGRAPHED COLLABORATING WITH POLICE. Also who terrorizes normal people at protests like this.
There's no way to know their level of coordination with police, but they fit the profile of a "counter-rioter" group. I will have more on this group coming out, but just a final thought for today: We shouldn’t have to wait for individuals to collaborate with cops or fash for us to reject peace police from the streets. Respecting autonomy is the only thing that will lead us to anything we desire.
