#JamaicaSport - I feel now is a good time to reassemble sport administration in Jamaica and look ahead to the Summer Olympics 2024, World Cup Football (M) 2022, W - 2023, Cricket, Netball and a few other disciplines...
#JamaicaSport - I get the sense that we are running out of ideas and the talk of athlete-centered focus is not being adhered to. There are five key areas which needs to be addressed
1. Governance, Leadership and Culture
2. Strategic Planning
#JamaicaSport 3. Financial Planning 4. Establishing sponsor partners and investors 5. Media, Marketing and Communications
Can't help but think that #JamaicaSport has progressed on the field in a number of instances, but administratively we have not championed the causes in a really serious way. The point of running a sporting body is to ensure the main stakeholders (in this case, the athletes) ...
...should have the best resources available to them, while they adhere to the standards, modern practices and continue to perform at the highest standards #JamaicaSport
