I don’t think you guys understand that using Khadijah رضي الله عنه in a discussion about women working actually doesn’t support this idea of women being out in the workforce with men. She hired men to work for her. She’s the perfect example of working from the home.
Also I really hate that that is the only time many of you bring her up. She was a virtuous woman and we can learn so much from her beyond just using her to push our agenda.
I don’t know how some are still missing the point. Don’t pervert the memory of mother Khadijah رضي الله عنه. She wasn’t a wage slave like modern working people. I wasn’t saying women can’t work. I’m saying stop misusing her memory to support women working in unIslamic conditions
