Muslim Rajputs are patrilineal descendants of Rajputs who became Muslim. Today, Muslim Rajputs can be found in north India & Pakistan.

Despite difference in faith, there have been instances where both Muslim and Hindu Rajputs have united together against external threats.

Dulla (Abdullah) Bhatti waged a generational war against Mughals.

Shah Hussain, a Sufi poet recorded his last words as being "No honorable son of Punjab will ever sell the soil of Punjab"

Isa Khan was a Muslim Rajput chieftain who throughout his reign resisted the Mughal invasion. It was only after his death that his region fell totally under Mughal control.

Isa personally fought Man Singh in a duel and stopped fighting after Man Singh's sword broke.

Rai Bular was a Muslim Rajput noble of the Bhatti clan. Rai Bular and Rai Bhoi had converted from Hinduism to Islam.

Although a Muslim, Rai was inspired by Sikh Guru Nanak and donated half of his land - over 18,500 acres of agricultural land.

Hasan Khan Mewati of the Rajput Khanzada Dynasty fought the invading forces of the first Mughal Emperor Babur under the forces led by Rana Sanga of Mewar - and was martyred in the Battle of Khanwa.

His dynasty had ruled Mewat for 200 years.

Raja Sangram Singh's son Toral Mal, was made to convert to Islam and renamed as Roz Afzun.

Not exactly anti-Mughal, but a totally badass Roz Afzun was loyal to Emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan and Jahangir referred to him as his "favourite" commander.

Zafar Khan's father Sadharan, was a Tanka Rajput convert to Islam. After Timur's invasion Zafar Khan took the opportunity to establish himself as sultan of an independent Gujarat.

The dynasty ruled for almost 200 years, until the conquest of Gujarat by the Mughal Empire.

Kamgar Khan of the Mayi clan led numerous revolts against Mughals and attempted to assert the Mayi's independence.

His descendant was Iqbal Ali Khan who took part in the 1781 revolt in Bihar against British however his revolt failed and Mayi's lost much of their land.

The sinister Hindutva attempt to cast Muslims as monolithic outsiders that were repelled by brave Hindu Rajputs is a load of cow-dung.

You cannot cut Indian history along religious lines - whatever you do - that's why Sanghis rely on WhatsApp propaganda like this.
