Dear @CyrilRamaphosa, as President of the Republic, YOU should be held accountable for the misappropriation of the R500 million towards the #COVID19SA relief fund. These funds were entrusted to YOU. You were once Deputy President & you KNEW corruption was & is rife...
The looting of food parcels began in APRIL, you should’ve taken stringent & corrective action then but you appointed your SIU only in JULY? When R500 billion has vanished in less than 4 months? Did you seriously think you could trust members of the ANC? How oblivious are you?
Mr. President @CyrilRamaphosa if you don’t know how R500 billion vanished in less than 4 months, then how are you President of South Africa? How can South Africans trust you when food is literally taken from their mouths by your very own colleagues, who already earn a fat salary?
#COVID19 is a global pandemic, establishing a collaborative & co-ordinating centre to strengthen the collective efforts among law enforcement agencies to prevent, detect, investigate & prosecute Covid-19 related corruption, should not even be a topic of discussion...
@CyrilRamaphosa you should’ve asked each & every member of your Cabinet that was allocated funds & responsible for approving tenders, to report to you on a weekly basis of how those funds were spent & how tenders were approved & IF you couldn’t personally handle this...
...then you should’ve appointed the @AuditorGen_SA or a team by @tito_mboweni to “monitor” the expenditure & they would report to you instead. Whatever happened to the investigation of the R30 million chicken fence that Patricia De Lille built to keep foreigners out?...
...we haven’t heard a word on this investigation since we questioned this expenditure. Why??? Will she be held accountable for misappropriating R30 million rands? Will we, the tax paying public, ever get answers???
How dare members of the ANC use #COVID19inSA to rob the poorest of the poor? How dare your members play with the lives of our doctors, nurses & front like workers who desperately needed PPE??? People have no f_cking jobs or food to eat but your cronies are still living large...
How dare you Mr. President @CyrilRamaphosa allow #COVID19inSA social and economic plan to be plagued by corruption? How do you & your members sleep at night, knowing that there are millions of poor Blacks going to bed with no food, no hope for tomorrow because there are no jobs?
Is this your “New Dawn” @CyrilRamaphosa? Because if this is your New Dawn, then it’s stinks like a clogged sewer. I’m sure you’re au-fait with the statement, “a fish rots from the head down”, your leadership & lack of authority / responsibility over your members is questionable
Your Government advised @IMFNews that it intends to take certain steps to stabilise the country’s finances, but is IMF aware that R500 billion allocated to #COVID19SA was misappropriated through corruption?
Apart from the IMF loan, The New Development Bank has granted a $1 billion loan, R5 billion from the African Development Bank & a further $2 billion from the World Bank ... with all these loans, Government debt is now projected to peak at close to 90% of GDP in 2023 / 2024...
...yet we have 2 trillion in state pension & unemployment mega funds on the JSE. For once Juliarse is right, we have sufficient funds in the domestic capital markets, current account in surplus & reserves. South Africa is NOT short of money but @MYANC is filled with thieves...
R500 billion #COVID19inSA package was apparently allocated to municipalities for emergency water supplies, public transport, food and shelter for homeless people, health, tax relief, wage support, funding for small business, creating employment etc...
@CyrilRamaphosa, how many jobs have been created in the last 4 months? How many homeless people have been housed with clean water? To create the R500-billion plan, you met with businesses, communities, labour, premiers, mayors & MECs, was your “plan” to vanish funds in 4 months?
500 billion wasn’t able to alleviate the pandemic in 4 months, what guarantee or how will R70 billion from the @IMFNews now help to alleviate the current stress? We couldn’t create jobs with 500 billion, instead the unemployment rate increased, how will R70 billion help citizens?
@CyrilRamaphosa, all of the below took place in the 1st month of Lockdown (April): abuse of food parcels, fraudulent UIF claims, overpricing of goods & services, violation of emergency procurement regulations, creation of fake non-profit organisations to access relief funding...
.... & you’re telling me that you only woke up NOW? You should have set up a task team to monitor the R500 billion expenditure then, not set up a task team to investigate the irregular expenditure now. @CyrilRamaphosa you can’t seem to manage your office, let alone South Africa.
