So, as a Aquarius Sun & Cancer Moon I've always found that the energies mix as this "Ultimate Waterbearer," concept.
Instead of the Waterbearer feeling like the Water is "other," and not understandable, it's more accepted and incorperated in it's movements & life. https://twitter.com/earthdombaby/status/1288156297569992705

The water -- the emotions, the nurturing, the care, the flow -- is still often used for others more than oneself. While there is self-compassion, a lot of the emotional validation that they INNATELY have is reserved for others.
Later, we learn how to accept our own emotions, too.

The air -- the logic, education, aloofness, innovation, communication & community -- still offers it's abilities to the whole community.
There is a lot of emotional exhaustion here, a lot of venting, a lot of attempting to keep themselves closed off for the comfort of others, too

You end up leading this life that purely pushes you to be a better person. Constantly in this moral conundrum of independence vs. dependence.
Often, we allow others to depend on us while we push ourselves to be alone & rely on no one.

This doesn't really stop there, bc the questions only continue.
Trying to figure out the line between "helpful," and "self-sacraficing." Trying to find the line between "sacraficing," and "sabatoging myself."
Everything blends together bc of how much we incorporate both.

You have this desire to be loyal, to be nurturing, to be caring, to bleed into another person.
You then have this desire to be alone, independent, rebellious, to bleed for other people.

At the end of the day, it feels like there is little to no "self." You give so much to others, you act for others, you speak, care, feel for others.
And for yourself, you're at a loss.
Especially in the case of a Detriment Sun + Domicile Moon.

You literally look at yourself on this basis of goodness that only quantifies/qualifies the actions you do for/to others.
A single "bad" or misguided action feels like a punch that bruises for months.

On good days, we bear the water of love. Of kindness. Of creativity.
On bad days, we bear the water of guilt, shame, lonliness.
For many of us, we carry this mixture of water & oil -- the guilt & shame just blur together with the love. It takes us a while to get the mix right.

It's not an easy life. Some of us are lucky enough to not have them contacting, some of us are doomed to that personal alienation that comes from a Sun-Moon (Moon-Rising or Rising-Sun) inconjunction.
It's not yet an energy I've mastered, but I've come to explore with a lot more openness.
It takes a lot of the understanding both signs have -- Cancer's personal understanding & Aquarius' universal understanding -- and allows the individual to look at the world through many lens.

The thing to keep in mind here is this combo's primary desire is to understand themselves & others.
Often, they feel alienated growing up. When they show emotion, they're called manipulative. When they are aloof, they're called demonic, monsterous, ect.

They try to balance these things out, but every action or step they take has been demonized to some extent.
Often, we end up seeking to understand others so we can fit in. We then try to fit the mold, and after realizing we don't & can't put a square peg in a round hole --

There is one big thing to keep in mind here, too.
Aquarius + Cancer has this scale where they care about the opinions of those they care for.

While they may begin to open up, and allow their more Canceran side be seen, if betrayed, they're not afraid to let you believe what you want about them.
Bc they do not care anymore.

There's a lot, for me, that's amazing about this combination bc it allows for the duality of life to be seen in motion.
It's almost as neat as people with a Leo Sun + Cancer Moon.

You see this extreme battle between aloofness & emotion that is constant. It's this feeling of "I care for one," vs. the "I care for all," at war. It's "I will sacrafice for you," & "I will sacrafice for my beliefs," all at once.
It is optimistic nihilism at it's best.
It is optimistic nihilism at it's best.
It is extremely multifaceted. It's the concept that someone can be extremely sensitive to the world around them while also appearing aloof. It is the tears in our eyes that we wipe away & calmly speak over bc while our eyes betray us our words still reign king.
"All for one, and one for all," is the Aquarius + Cancer motto.
"I understand," is their favorite phrase, and their goal.
They are the ultimate mom friend + momma bear, and are 100% willing to let someone know that you aren't to be treated that way, and neither is your friend.

They're ambitious, they're passionate, they're loving, they're guilt-ridden, they're independent, they're dependable, they're hopeful, they don't know the purpose behind it.
But they know today cannot be lived twice & they'd rather live it being the best they can possibly be.

My favorite phrases to say, personally, are:
• "I want to be the good I see in the world,"
• "Everytime we help another person, we change their lives."
• "I want to be the good I see in the world,"
• "Everytime we help another person, we change their lives."
• "Perfection doesn't exist in humans, by its definition. I've redefined it for myself: 'Perfection is the pursuit of being the best person you can be."
• "When we strive for personal perfection, we are perfect. When we end our pursuit, we have committed to the ultimate flaw."
• "When we strive for personal perfection, we are perfect. When we end our pursuit, we have committed to the ultimate flaw."
I also want to be clear -- this doesn't minimize the many battles with ourselves.
You see all these differences, these challenges, these opposing views. They're a constant, personal fight.
These don't mix easily. We still carry the water, but we're splashing it all over ourselves

It's hard. Maybe this articulated it like it was easy, it was kind, that we are saints.
We aren't. We battle daily with the concept of good vs. bad. We battle daily with do we fight for others or ourselves. We battle daily with the concept of "realness."
It isn't easy.
