Depression (major depressive disorder) is a serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Depression involve intense sadness feelings of worthlessness everything feels hopeless. It can even lead to physical pain such as anxiety.

Depressed people feel like they are trapped people are around them but they can’t feel the love or the care if they don’t get the help they need their way of getting rid of it is to die by suicide WHICH IS WRONG no one deserves death and no one deserves to live in hell.
In 2015 Deepika has launched The Live Love Laugh Foundation after 2 years of fighting it.

It’s a NON-PROFIT foundation which means you need help they’ll offer it for FREE.
The same day of her launch she was given a mission to help the farmers in the state who were dying by suicide she offered to help and take care of them and everything they could possibly need FOR FREE.
Deepika created this foundation with the help of professional people.
1- Anna Chandy is the first Certified Training & Supervising Transactional Analyst from Asia, with a specialization in Counselling. She has trained in Mind Body Healing Work & also has certifications in Neurolinguistic Programming & Art Therapy.
She has worked with survivors of the Gujarat Earthquake and the victims of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka and India in psycho-socio rehabilitation work. She is the chair person of The live Love laugh Foundation.
DR. Shyam k Bhat is a Psychiatrist & a Integrative Medicine specialist. He has a combination of postgraduate training & American Board certifications in 2 specialities Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology) & Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine).
He is board certified in Psychosomatic Medicine (ABPN subspeciality), the study of conditions at the interface of body & mind. He has a deep understanding of eastern philosophy & healing practices & has been called a pioneer of Integrative Medicine & holistic psychiatry in India.
In 2017 the Foundation has created the ‘you are not alone’ program which is conducted FREE of charge in schools around the country.
It has covered 34,023 students and 6,480 teachers across 276 schools in six states (Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Delhi) in ONLY ONE YEAR. It’s delivered in English, Hindi, Tamil and Gujarati.
In 2017 the foundation joined hands with Apollo Hospital to creat a program that will cover 1200 doctors across 64 locations in India. The Foundation led by Deepika, has already conducted the programme for ~ 2,000 other doctors around the country in 2016.
In 2017 Deepika and the foundation visited two PHCs, one in Pallaghatte and the other in Bilchodu village to see the ground situation for herself and to listen to them and offer them the help they need.
In 2017 Deepika was part of an event called ‘India Economic Summit’ held by ‘World Economic Forum’ the first time an event was held in India about depression and the stigma that is attached to it.
In 2018 Deepika was also a part of ‘World Economic Forum’ that reveal how India sees mental health.
