George is officially the best Beatle according to 45.9% of the 98 people who voted in my poll. My promise to share a thread of the best songs of whichever Beatle won lost me 3 followers, but here goes anyway...

Apparently critics hated this song (George had laryngitis when he sang it and you can tell) but I think it's fantastic. It's about his rock star excess.
This one's really catchy, and it's on the Nuns on the Run soundtrack, which is a plus in my book.
This one was George's tribute to John after John's death, and has Ringo on drums and Paul on backing vocals, so it is therefore automatically lovely.
This was apparently George's attempt to do a song in the style of the Ronettes.
Don't be put off by the crappy Oasis album of the same name. This song is really beautiful.
I absolutely love this song. It's a Bob Dylan-esque song about the fans that used to hang around outside the Apple studios.
This might have ended up on Let It Be but the Beatles rejected it, which is absolutely crazy.
A folk rock song about George's mansion shouldn't be as easy to like as this, but it's wonderful.
I just found out Bowie liked this song, and covered it a few times. So don't take my word for it, trust Bowie.
George's best song ever. Better than even the ones he did with the Beatles. One of my all time favourite songs ever.
