Blind and visually impaired doesn't mean someone has 100% no vision. I have a two eye diseases but i do have some vision. I mainly see with my left eye. It's been that way since I was born. My right macular was completely damaged due to toxoplasmosis. 1/5
Set the Photoshop blur tool to not quite its maximum strength that's what I see with my right eye. I can't read words or recognize facial features. Until a few years ago my left vision was corrected with glasses but around 2015 I noticed a drastic reduction even with them. 2/5
I started using accessibility features on my phone (funny enough coincided with me taking a job that led me into accessibility testing). I was diagnosed with Keratoconus (cornea thins and bulges into a cone-like shape).Glasses no longer corrected my left eye vision. 3/5
The hard RGP lenses that can leave me in literal pain and tears most of the time.I don't wear them if I don't have to and stared to use a screen reader not just in my phone but also desktop. I do have the option of a cornea transplant but that comes with a lot of drawbacks. 4/5
