Three ways the medical community is better at fighting COVID-19 now vs. early in the pandemic (just in case someone tells you to watch the Breitbart doctors press conference):
1) Remdesivir antiviral medication
2) Convalescent plasma donations
3) Less ventilator use

The trials continue. This week Sarasota Memorial Hosptial is expanding its trial of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals antibody treatment. Outpatients with milder illness will be able to qualify.

Bottom line this is NOT a cure for coronavirus. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/coronavirus-covid-19-update-fda-revokes-emergency-use-authorization-chloroquine-and
We need to rely on the science, front line doctors and epidemiologists to guide us back to somewhat normal life. I put this thread together as a concerned baseball fan learning more about the Marlins covid-19 outbreak. South Florida has been a hot spot since June. #WearYourMaskFL
