1962 line for a polio vaccine: Muscle weakness & muscle paralysis were formerly diagnosed as paralytic poliomyelitis, or “polio”, purportedly a “viral infection” that mainly affects children (the scientific evidence of the existence of a “polio virus” has never been provided!).
Today in the Western World where polio is supposed to be eradicated by vaccination, the same symptoms are called ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, aka Lou Gehrig’s disease or motor neuron disease), Multiple Sclerosis, or Guillain-Barré syndrome. https://learninggnm.com/SBS/documents/muscles.html#Polio_ALS_Guillain
Polio redefined:

ALS disease is 2 per 100,000 people, & estimated that at least 16,000 Americans live w/ it.

MS Society estimates that nearly 1 million people over the age of 18 live w/ a diagnosis of MS.

Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is 1-2 people each year in every 100,000
