Cost-effective lab equipment from @MiniOneSystem made setup for the lab much more tractable. MiniOne also has MiniLabs which helped students practice lab skills. #Botany2020
Students got hands-on experience with herbarium specimens collected 50+ years ago. They chose from a set of proposed focal taxa. #Botany2020
Our sequencing engaged outside collaborators. In one project, we received additional specimens/tissue/DNA of Abronia from @Saab95adventure @gypsumbotany and Sonia Nosratina. Students were excited to be part of a project that will produce publishable results! #Botany2020
