Routes like the 75, 14, 44 and 175 will probably save around five minutes per trip as a result of removing on-street parking from that stretch of road alone. Imagine if it was repeated everywhere.

A common sight on Mounttown Rd Lwr in Dún Laoghaire (46a, 75, 63 and 111 routes) - cars parked on both sides of the road, meaning buses travelling both ways have to sit and wait for 'permission' from oncoming traffic before proceeding. Every one of those houses has a driveway

Down the hill on York Rd... same again. Impossible to drive a bus past those parked cars without having to cross the line.
