I always feel a twinge of stress when I'm reading a random article and I come across the line "it was an unseasonably warm day". That's a totally fine line, and weather isn't climate...but the unseasonable has BECOME seasonable. We changed the seasons so some people could profit.
Petition to replace "unseasonably warm" with "statistically more likely to be this warm, and it makes me mad, and I'm going to write an angry letter about it or take some other action RIGHT NOW".
"I met her on a June day that was statistically more likely to be this warm, and it makes me mad, and I'm going to write an angry letter about it or take some other action RIGHT NOW, and we ordered the cheesecake"
