in this thread i will answer the biology related questions of nct members, like the sunflower question of renjun (pls don't mind this im just bored and im still not ready for my biochem online class next month 😭)
renjun: a sunflower starts facing the east then end in the west during sunset right? then how does it face the sun again during sunrise the next day? does it suddenly flip the other way?
answer: first of all, the phenomenon of flowers following the sun is called ‘HELIOTROPISM' and this is only commonly observed in young flowers. when the flower reach maturity, they will also stop following the sun. mature sunflowers face the east.
interestingly, plants have body clocks like humans too, it's called ‘circadian rhythm’. so what's the role of the plant body clock here? to answer rj's question, young sunflower will start facing the east during dawn, towards the direction of where the sun will rise —
mark: is cherry blossom a flower or tree?

answer: cherry blossom is an ANGIOSPERM! a plant that can produce a flower! basically cherry blossom is a tree that can produce flowers under genus Prunus (italized). it's a DECIDUOUS tree.
deciduous trees- seasonal trees, like they shed leaves during autumn, shedding petals, and shedding of ripe fruit. so yeah that's it.
