Cuz just by saying “Xinjiang” and I can image ppl would bombard me with “Uighur” bla bla...like there is nothing-else exist, no other native ethnic minorities live, in Xinjiang. Such drastic surge of world’s “interests” in XJ seems rather strange. If ppl really care about XJ...

when lives my families my friends of Han, Uighur, and many other ethnicities were threatened by terrorists slaughtering hundreds of innocent ppl on #Urumqi’s street in July 2009? WHERE WERE YOU!?
But now suddenly seems everyone with different faces not long ago suddenly become white knight standing on a moral highground spell the magic words of “Uighur”, “camps”, trying to educate even myself about what’s going on in my home? With all respec, it stinks with opportunistic

recognitive path-dependence, I don’t know what else it could be...Again, I believe there are ppl know about and genuinely care for the ppl in Xinjiang, I wholeheartedly thank you for that. But if you just spelling “Xinjiang” for your own little game & entertainment,
