Gerald Everett's ADOT? 8.24...
Tyler Higbee's ADOT was below 6 before his break-out, behind Marcedes Lewis. Gerald Everett is the intermediate target in the Rams' 12-personnel. Higbee is the blocker/outlet. The Rams like him in this role and extended his contract accordingly. (cont'd)
Higbee's ADOT increased when Everett missed time. That's because Higbee's role increased. And that's what we want in a TE, right? A full-time guy?
As I see it, Higbee stans have 3 possible positions:
1) Higbee was a heretofore unleashed Ertz/Andrews (also 12-personnel teams)...

...but Higbee's utilization doesn't support this at all. (Ertz ADOT: 9, Andrews: 11).
2) Is Higbee a beast after the catch like Kittle or Jonnu Smith (SPARQx scores of 123 and 127, respectively)? Well, not so much...

And can he can keep up the YAC production? 4 of Higbee's 5 breakout games came against the 3 teams that gave up the most yards to TEs in 2019 (Dallas, Seattle, & Arizona 2x). Higbee went 8 for 78 in the second half with the Rams trailing the Cowboys by 21 against a soft zone.
3) Or Higbee has to push Everett off the field. Higbee stans could look at Hooper's 2019 numbers: 93 targets, 75 catches, 787 yds, 7.2 ADOT. Unfortunately, the Rams' personnel signals are as clear as mud. Their first three 2020 draft picks were a RB, WR, and TE, in that order.
