That Grealish goal exposed the exact flaw our strikers have had this season. They NEVER look like they can create half a yard for a shot, or even try to. It's so simple, just to shift the ball to the side and strike the ball, and all good strikers can do it; Kane, Aguero etc.
I don't thing a Villa striker has really done it well since Ayew, who has made a career out of it. Benteke was also excellent at this. For me, this is the reason our attack looks so null most the time, as our attackers don't have the confidence/ability to create half a yard and
strike the ball. Davis against West Ham is the only example I can remember all season, but the issue with him is always the technique of the shot, not the movement or intention.
This means our strikers need a chance on a plate, which was made much worse by our slow wingers.
