My business mentor told me that his new barber identifies as a Hebrew Israelite. His recent appointment turned into a 2 hr convo on faith. He let his barber talk without arguing with him at every point. The more he talked, the more he was able to see what his deeper issue was.
He was able to minister to his real need and not just debating random statements. By the end, he said what his barber needed most was a hug and someone to tell him he has value. He said he remembered what I always say “more convos, less debates.”
His barber wants to go to church with him and wants to learn more about Jesus. Said all that to say again, more convos, less debates.
