The statistic is usually touted that Blacks score lower on intelligence tests than Whites. Generally, this is true. But what's often left out is that controlling for socioeconomic status, the gap closes quite a bit.

Blacks are more likely to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's & other dementias earlier in life than Whites. It's quite likely that factors such as environmental pollutants, healthcare access & SES status are at play, but there is little research done. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2211729/
But racism isn't only an issue for the elderly in terms of cognition.

Our children are affected as well. Studies show that high school Black & Brown students who are exposed to the unarmed police shooting like those of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, via video poses potential traumatization equal with PTSD.
