If you want engagement

You need to style your tweets

Some tweet styles crush it everytime

Let me show you my favorites inside:

“Tweet Styles That Work”

- A Thread -
Number 1:
“One Liners”

A one liner tweet is a single lined tweet that packs a ton of meaning into few words.

Example:

“Gumroad is the Netflix of Hustlers”

This was my best preforming one liner

A perfect one liner has:

a subject followed by the meaning of that subject
Number 2:
“2 Liners”

A two liner tweet is a more detailed one liner tweet

It has a main subject followed by an outcome

Example:

“If I had 10,000 followers

I would retweet small accounts”

If you can make it:

- relatable
- controversial
- meaningful

You’ll crush it
Number 3:
“Threads”

Threads are my favorite tweet style

A great thread:

- hooks the reader
- gives a clear linear outline
- contains one subject per tweet
- ends with a call to action

Tips:

1. Use lists or chapters
2. Use numbers is you can
3. Relate the top tweet to them
Number 4:
“Bullet Lists”

A bullet list:

- starts with a one line topic
- gives multiple bullets
- ends with a conclusion

Example:

“How to use Twitter:

- tweet with authority
- build an audience
- sell your products
- grow an email list
- make money

It’s the perfect system”
Number 5:
“Quote + Solution”

A quote + solution tweet has a list of one line quotes followed one line solutions

Example:

“I can’t focus in the mornings”
- make your bed

“I can’t find time to exercise”
- stop watching Netflix

“I can’t make money”
- stop making excuses
Number 6:
“Before and After”

A before and after tweet starts with the “past + bullet points” and ends with the “present + bullet points”

Example:

“I use to have:

- low self esteem
- bad sleeping habits

Now I have:

- confidence
- peace

Change your life today”
“Your Turn”

- pick one of these styles
- write a tweet today
- watch how it performs

You can’t go wrong with any of them

The key is to test out what works best with your audience

You will get engagement

It’s all in the style + content
