Have seen so much nonsense written about this. There are a handful of owners in European football who throw endless amounts of cash at their team. You're talking like Liverpool are the anomaly when it's exactly the opposite.
They've done something more important than pump cash in; they've used their business acumen to appoint the right people and make the right decisions and double the club's turnover inside 10 years. Letting the club amass it's own resources to compete and be self sufficient.
If you think they're owners who don't interfere you haven't a clue. This idea that you can just appoint a top coach and everything falls into place is horseshit. Liverpool don't operate in a vacuum.
