Every decision the Ford government makes about community re-opening must prioritize #SafeSeptember. We have a collective responsibility to our kids to get this right.
Demand 1: 
Fully-funded 5-day in-class learning with 15 or smaller cohorts.
We don’t want 5-day “no matter what”. We want school prioritized, funded, & fully-planned so that kids & ed workers are safe.
We want legislation that enables parents to stay home when needed. #onted

Demand 3: Safe Buildings.
Years of underfunding mean that our schools are often in unsafe condition without the additional pressures of a pandemic.
We need to hire more custodians, buy PPE, and ensure supplies, fixtures & ventilation support safety.

COVID is still circulating, & pandemic living has not been easy on children. Many will be coming to school with needs connected to their experience during this time.
