1. @sarahpalinusa has an undisclosed relationship w/an obscure right-wing website called Analyzing America

The website, which traffics in propaganda and conspiracy, pays Palin to post links to her Facebook page

The arrangement violates Facebook's rules https://popular.info/p/sarah-palins-facebook-grift
2. In response to a request for comment, Facebook said: "After an initial investigation, we found there’s enough evidence to merit a deeper review. In the meantime, we are taking temporary enforcement action and demoting the Page posting this content" https://popular.info/p/sarah-palins-facebook-grift
3. Palin has posted links to Analyzing America 280 times since May 4. All of the content is aggregated and much of it is toxic. Last year, Analyzing American published a post implying that Hillary Clinton was responsible for murdering Jeffrey Epstein. https://popular.info/p/sarah-palins-facebook-grift
4. Palin posts Analyzing America links with a special code appended to the URL which facilitates being paid for driving traffic to the site

It's the same scheme @realDailyWire was using with a toxic group of Facebook pages controlled by Mad World News https://popular.info/p/sarah-palins-facebook-grift
5. Facebook does not appear interested in enforcing its rules on its own.

So it's up to people like me to uncover this kind of manipulation.

6. I also found evidence that The Washington Times is paying a huge Facebook page called ForAmerica (7.5 million followers) to boost its content.

ForAmerica has published 1,360 links to The Washington Times since October, about 2/3 of all links posted https://popular.info/p/sarah-palins-facebook-grift
8. The arrangement massively increases the distribution of The Washington Times on Facebook. On most days, Washington Times links get more engagement from ForAmerica than everywhere else on Facebook combined
