Here's a chilling bit of cartoon history.

A page from the Nazi SS's "Black Book," the hit list they had assembled in preparation for the invasion of Britain. These were the people who were to shot on sight once the Germans invaded.

David Low, cartoonist, is one of them.
native New Zealander, Low moved to London and became a pro cartoonist at age 19. A few years later he got the gig at the Evening Standard. He was an early harsh critic of fascism, and Hitler in particular. Adolf was said to have flown into a rage at several Low cartoons.
Others in the Black Book: Churchill, Sigmund Freud, HG Wells, and Virginia Wolff.
I was a big fan of Low's cartoons. I stumbled across a collection of his work at Monkey's Retreat in Columbus, just as I was inching into political cartoons at age 19 myself. But haha I was no David Low. Might wanna aim your sights a tad lower there, young me.
This cartoon could be seamlessly updated with Someone Orange.

It's important to remember what fascism truly looks like, and why it's so vital to stop it dead in its fucking tracks right here and now.
